Description

This is a cottage located in West Tytherley, dating from the 17th century, with extensions from the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and additional structures, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and consists of two bays from the 17th century, with an 18th-century outshot bay on the right that includes a large 20th-century dormer above. The door is situated at the right end of the 17th-century section, set within a rustic timber porch from the 20th century. To the left, there is a 2-light casement window and a 3-light casement window above in an eyebrow dormer. The left bay is blank, while the right bay features a 2-light casement window and a 3-light casement window above in a tall 20th-century dormer. The roof is hipped and slopes down to the right, with stacks positioned above the door and at the left end.
