Description

Milestone dated 1766, located about 200 metres north of the junction with Street Lane. This limestone pillar features a pitched top and has incised lettering on the front stating "III / Miles from / SHASTON / 1766." The sides are inscribed with "SEDGEHILL." The milestone has been reset in concrete following 20th-century road improvements.
