Description

Nos 1 and 2 Lansdowne Road are a pair of cottages built around 1840. They are two storeys high, constructed of red brick on a stone plinth, and feature a low-pitched hipped slate roof. There is a central brick chimney stack with a stepped cornice head and a string course. Each cottage has two windows, which are recessed two-light mullioned casements with intact close-set panes on No 1. The windows have stone surrounds and drip moulds above them. The doors are modern and are recessed in plain stone surrounds, also featuring drip moulds, with one step leading up to each door.
