Description
CORSHAM PICKWICK ST 86 70 (south side) 4/400 II GV Garden house approx. 30 metres to South-west of No.6 (Pickwick House)
Garden house. Probably latter C18 as Pickwick House (q.v.) Ashlar, Welsh slate roof. Single storey, semicircular on plan. Plinth. Front taken up by half-glazed door (9-pane glazed panel to upper section) and flanking sashes with glazing bars, all in moulded, ogee-arched surrounds, the windows with intersecting glazing bars to heads, the door with similarly- treated overlight and semicircular step in front. Moulded string, frieze, corniced pediment with sunk quatrefoil to tympanum. Interior wooden bench around curved wall supported by wooden posts, some renewed.
