Description

This thatched cottage, originally part of a pair at the end of a row, dates from the 17th to 18th century. It features painted roughcast over sarsen rubble, with the right gable made of 20th-century painted brick. The cottage has a thatched roof and is one storey high with an attic, consisting of two bays and a central stack. At the rear, there is a 20th-century lean-to that serves as the current entrance. The ground floor has horizontal sliding sash windows, while the attic contains later 20th-century casements in flush dormers, all with timber lintels.
