Description

No. 12 Oxford Street is a colourwashed rubble farmhouse, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. It is now a house. The building has a tiled roof and is arranged over one storey and an attic, originally with four bays, though the first bay on the left is a later addition beyond brick quoining. The front entrance is in the second bay, opposite a four-flued brick stack. The entrance to the right bays has been removed. The main entrance is via a boarded door, and most windows are timber casements, although the first bay has a margin-glazed sash window. There is a small four-pane casement window on the first floor.
