Description

MILFORD STREET 1. 1594 (North Side) Nos 57, 57A & 59 SU 1429 NE 4/208 II GV 2. No 57: late C18. 2 storeys red brick, some grey headers. Old tile roof. Tile hung gable ends. 2 windows on 1st floor, flush framed sashes. Formerly 2 windows and door on ground floor, one window converted to secondary door with side lights. Main door of 6 fielded panels, fluted flanking strips, carved console brackets to moulded hood. No 59 has C18 front to C16/C17 building. 2 storeys and attic. Timber frame tile hung with mathematical tiles. Gable end old tile roof. Canted bay window sash lights, on 1st floor, glazing bars to upper sash. Plain modern shop front on ground floor.

Nos 55 to 61 (odd) & No 65 form a group.
