Description

MILFORD STREET 1. 1594 (South Side) No 42 5U 1429 NE 4/202 28.2.52. II GV 2. Early C18. 3 storey. Red brick on rusticated stucco ground floor. Moulded and coved stucco eaves cornice. Hipped old tile roof. 2 windows with architrave frames on second floor. Large central first floor angular bay with panelled apron, architrave frame, plain frieze and moulded cornice at head and ogee shaped lead roof terminating in half sphere on wall. Wide central window to bay of 4 panes. 2 windows (heavy barred) in moulded frames on ground floor and 6-panel door with architrave surround to RH. Large brick chimney LH of grouped square shafts with brick offsets.

Nos 42 to 46 (even) form a group.
