Description

No. 5 Lion Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall. It features two windows on the first floor and four windows on the ground floor. The structure is made of red brick, which has been renewed. A cornice with modillions runs along the top. The ground floor windows are sash windows set in frames with small curved headings and have rubbed brick voussoirs. The entrance is a recessed doorway flanked by Doric pilasters and topped with an entablature, and the door itself has six moulded panels. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 6 Lion Street.
