Description

This is an 18th-century building of three storeys, originally featuring two window bays. It has a tiled roof with a hip at the northern end. The exterior is stuccoed with long and short quoins. A prominent cornice is present, decorated with modillions. The original windows were sash windows set in frames with flat arches. A later bay containing two windows has been built out, extending the building. The doorway is flanked by Doric pilasters and topped with a pediment; above the door is a semi-circular fanlight with tracery, and the door itself has four moulded panels. Numbers 1, 2, 3, 20 and 21 form a group with number 6 Lion Street.
