Description

This is an 18th-century building located on the west side of St Martin's Square. It is two stories high with an attic, and the roof is divided into two sections, with slate covering the north side and tiles covering the south side. There are four dormers visible on the roof. The building has seven windows. The exterior is stuccoed, with the ground floor rusticated and pilasters at each end. A cornice featuring modillions runs along the top. The windows are sash windows set in flat arches and retain their original glazing bars. The doorway has a Doric plaster frieze and a flat hood. The door itself is six-panelled, with four fielded panels, and panelled reveals. The building forms a group with numbers 2, 3, 20 and 21, as well as number 6 Lion Street.
