Description

This is a pair of houses located on St Dennis Road, dating to the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed from rendered limestone rubble, with brick gable stacks and a stone slate roof. The houses follow a double-depth plan. Each house is two storeys high with a single window on each floor. The frontages have paired doorways; number 44 has a boarded door, while number 46 has a half-glazed door. Number 46 retains an early 19th-century former shop window with 15 panes. The first floor of number 46 features a paired 2/2-pane sash window, and number 44 has horned plate-glass sashes with margin bars. The interior has not been inspected. The houses were originally listed in error under the name of St Dennis Lane.
