Description
No. 48 on St Dennis Road is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble, featuring a brick gable stack on the right and a stone slate roof. The house has a two-room plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The left-hand doorway has timber lintels and a half-glazed door. The ground floor includes late 19th-century tripartite plate-glass sash windows, while the first floor has smaller plate-glass sash windows. The interior was extensively remodeled in the late 20th century. This property was formerly listed incorrectly as No. 48 St Dennis Lane.
