Description

No. 24 on Rectory Lane is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. There are stop-chamfered timber lintels above the central 20th-century door and the 19th-century three-light casements, which have iron opening lights on the ground floor. A 20th-century timber lintel is present above the door to the right. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to have chamfered beams.
