Description
No. 7 Park Lane is a house dating from around 1780, with possible earlier origins from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with squared stone beneath the eaves, and features a gabled concrete tile roof and brick end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and is two storeys high, with a two-window range. Wrought-iron brackets support a flat hood over the central late 18th-century six-panelled door, which has two glazed panels and is set in a chamfered stone architrave. There are flat stone arches above the six-pane windows. At the rear, there is a similar sash window and a 20th-century extension. Inside, the house has stone flag floors, and to the left, there is a cased beam that likely originates from the earlier house. The room to the right features moulded cornices and a stone fireplace with a moulded architrave, all dating from around 1780.
