Description
These are two mid-19th century estate cottages situated on the west side of Savernake Cadley. The buildings are constructed of red brick with buff brick dressings, and have timber framing above the ground floor. They have a tiled roof and two brick stacks, with shafts rebuilt and bonded at the heads. The cottages consist of a two-bay main block and a cross wing containing the second cottage on the left. The cross wing features a door with a shouldered arch. The main block is single storey and has an attic, with two gabled flush dormers featuring patterned framing in the gable and cut barge boards. Windows are timber casement types.
