Description

No 20 is a cottage dating from the 17th century and later. It is timber framed with colourwashed brick noggings and a thatched roof. The building has two bays, is single storey with an attic, and has been extended at both ends by single storey brick bays. The framing consists of three panels high with small square framing and tension braces. There is a boarded door to the left and a second door in the right bay. The cottage features 19th century timber casement windows and end stacks. The thatch extends down over the later end bays, which are both extended to the rear as gabled wings, with the gables being tile hung.
