Description

No 16 is a cottage located at the end of a row, dating from the later 17th century. The building is rendered and features a thatched roof. Originally one storey with an attic, it was raised to two storeys in the later 18th century. The cottage has two bays, with a 19th-century boarded door and doorcase in the right bay. There is a paned window on the ground floor and small 19th-century windows on the upper floor. A stack is located on the left gable. Inside, there are some timber framing elements with brick noggings.
