Description

This is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It has a cob exterior faced with flint and waney boarding on the upper level, topped with a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and consists of two bays, which include a main living room and an unheated inner room that has a stair. There is a lean-to extension from the late 18th century located beyond the gable stack. The entrance is now situated within a glazed 20th-century extension to the former inner room. The cottage features small paned windows, although the window arrangement has been altered, with minimal openings on the north side. The interior is reported to have a timber-framed chimney at the upper floor level.
