Description

This is an 18th-century milestone located in Great Lodge Bottom, Savernake. It is made of painted stone and features rectangular shafts with a gabled top. The milestone has a painted inscription that reads: "MARLBORO 2 / SALISBURY 25 / ANDOVER 19."
