Description

This is a milestone dating from the 18th century, located south of Marlborough Road Cottages on Everleigh Old Salisbury Road. It is made of limestone and features a rectangular shaft with a gabled top. The milestone has an incised inscription that reads: "To / Marlboro" with the remainder of the text being illegible. There is also a bench mark below the inscription. The milestone has been re-erected.
