Description
The Animal House, part of David Bruce House, is a stable and carriage house originally built for Everleigh Manor House in the 18th century. Constructed of brick with a slate roof, the building features two storeys and a prominent central portico supported by six Doric columns, which holds a wide pediment adorned with a cinquefoil motif. On either side of the portico, there are arches that include stone key blocks and a springing course, with blind panels positioned above. The eaves are decorated with dentils. The central doors that were once located within the portico have been removed. The building is currently used as experimentation laboratories.
