The milestone at Upavon Down is located on the Upavon to Andover turnpike and dates from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a rectangular pillar with a cast-iron plate. The plate displays the distances to Devizes (12 miles), Everleigh (2 miles), and Andover (14 miles).
