Description

The lodge to Southcott House, built around 1840, is constructed from undressed flint with brick quoins, window dressings, and fascia. It features an asbestos slate roof and an octagonal plan, with 20th-century additions at the rear. The entrance is through a door in a link, and the lodge has round-headed timber windows that are adorned with raised brick arches and quoins. The eaves are moulded stone over a deep fascia. Inside, there is a central brick stack that supports a 19th-century iron fireplace.
