Description

The Cooper's Arms is a 17th-century inn, originally timber framed and whitewashed, with a later brick front and thatched roof. It comprises two bays, extended to the right with a single-storey off-licence sales shop. The main entrance is a central six-panelled door, and there are timber casement windows. Gable stacks are present, and the roof is half-hipped. Inside, a large fireplace is in the right gable, featuring a timber fire lintel and a former brick oven. The interior also contains chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
