Description

Nos 68 and 70 Raffin Lane are two cottages dating from the 17th century, set at right angles to each other. They are timber framed and rendered, with thatched roofs. Each cottage is single storey with attics and consists of two bays, sharing a stack at their junction. The framing features two panels high with corner braces. No 68, which faces the road, has a central glazed door and a four-panelled door in the right bay, both of which have 19th-century timber casement windows. No 70 includes a later gable stack, and the roof is half hipped.
