Description

No 20 High Street is a shop, workshop, and dwelling located at the end of a row, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The building is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. The entrance door is inset and has margin glazing, accompanied by a framed shop window. To the left, there is a bow window with a moulded fascia set within an incised pilastered frame. The first floor has nine-pane single hung windows. The eaves are decorated with brick dentils, and the roof is hipped to the right, topped with a brick stack. The building retains two attractive display/shop windows.
