Description

The barn at Pewsey Hill Farm was built in 1818 and is a Grade II listed structure. It features a timber frame with corrugated iron facings and a roof. The barn has twelve bays and an aisle on the north side. There are two cart entrances located in bays 4 and 8, along with two subsidiary raked pitching doors in bays 6 and 10. The roof is half hipped. Inside, the trusses have jowled posts with braces to the ties and collars. An inscription on the tie beam states: "This barn built + July the 7 1818 by Rd. Allen 9..........XX."
