PEWSEY - SU 15 NE 10/60 Barn at Pewsey Hill Farm

Barn. 1818. Timber framed with corrugated-iron facings and roof. Twelve bays, with aisle on north side. Two cart entrances to bays 4 and 8, and two subsidiary raked pitching doors in bays 6 and 10. Roof half hipped. Interior trusses have jowled posts with braces to ties, and collars. Inscription on tie beam reads: This barn built + July the 7 1818 by Rd. Allen 9..........XX.
