Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into flats. It was built around 1704, with some 19th-century alterations. The front is roughcast on brick, with the sides colourwashed and raised brick dressings. The building features slate roofs and has three storeys with three by five bays. There is a central stone doorcase with recessed glazed doors. The windows are twelve-pane sashes with very fine glazing bars and concealed boxes. The fascia has spaced brackets supporting the boxed eaves. The roofs are parallel hipped, and there are large panelled brick stacks at each corner. Inside, there is a through hall with a stair, and it is said to contain traces of an earlier structure.
