Description

No 24 is a pair of estate cottages that have been combined into one dwelling, built in 1854. The building is constructed of red brick featuring an elaborate pattern of raised blue and buff bricks, with buff raised quoins. It has a tiled roof and stands two storeys tall with five bays. A two-storey gabled porch is located at the fourth bay, which includes a datestone in the gable and an open recessed porch below. At the right end, there is a timber open verandah that extends to a square bay. The original diamond-paned margin glazing has been replaced in the 20th century, except for the glazing in the bay.
