Description
Kingstone's Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century, with alterations and extensions made in the mid to late 18th century, late 19th century, and 20th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring some sarsen walling, tile hanging on the first floor, and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and was originally L-shaped, with the main block being rebuilt and extended in the 18th century to form a T-shape. The stem of the building was further extended in the early 19th century with an outbuilding, along with later extensions. The main block has a central four-panelled door, which is part glazed and is sheltered by a lean-to porch. The windows are 19th-century timber casements. Inside, there is fielded panelling in the room at the left end of the main garden front, and the kitchen is located in the rear wing.
