Description

Park Gate Cottages are a pair of estate cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are two storeys high and constructed from red brick, topped with a black glazed pantiled roof. Each cottage features two internal chimney stacks, each with three square shafts arranged diamondwise on a plain base. The front of the cottages has three windows: two outer 2-light casement windows and a single-light casement window in the middle, all adorned with geometrical leading in the glass. There are two doors at the ends, each with a gabled porch roof supported by large solid brackets, and the porches have slates and fluted barge-boards.
