Description

The monument to Turner, located in the churchyard and 1 metre north of the vestry of the Church of St. Michael, is a chest tomb dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of freestone and features Perpendicular decorations, including cusped circles in the frieze beneath a moulded slab. The side panels are positioned between cusped headed shafts, and the plinth is inscribed with "Turner 1833."
