Description

The property is a cottage, dating from the 17th century, though significantly refaced in the 19th century. It has a roughcast exterior and a double Roman tile roof. Originally a cross-passage dwelling, it now comprises two units. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. A single-storey lean-to extension is present on the left-hand side. Most windows are 2-light casements from the 19th century, with the exception of a 2-light mullioned window with an ovolo moulding on the ground floor at the rear. A 20th-century glazed gabled porch is located on the right-hand side, and there is a doorway within the left extension. Internally, features include chamfered and stopped spine beams with run-out stops, a segmental-headed timber door frame, a bread oven within an altered inglenook fireplace, and a winder staircase.
