Description

The monument to Turner is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 5 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St. Peter. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of freestone. The tomb features a moulded slab supported by corner balusters, with plain ends and inscribed side panels, as well as a moulded plinth. The inscription notes that it commemorates Turner, who died in 1764.
