Description
Filton House is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the mid to late 18th century. The building is rendered and features a double roman tile roof and a freestone porch. The main block is three storeys tall with five windows. There is a single-storey north wing with three windows and a two-storey south wing that has four windows, with the last bay set back. All the windows are segmental headed and have glazing bar sashes, except for the second storey of the main block, which features 9-light casements. The central porch has two Ionic columns and two pilasters that support a full entablature and a parapet. There is an inserted door in the south wing next to the main block, which is located under a plain hood on brackets. The building underwent significant restoration in the mid-20th century.
