Description
The stable and barn, located about 9 metres north of Over Farmhouse, were built around 1840. They are constructed of rubble with brick dressings and have pantiled roofs. The stable features four entrances with doors that have segmental gauged brick heads, and two first-floor windows in timber frames with single mullions. The stable block has a lower roof, while the six-bay barn has a 19th-century raised roof supported by tier-beam and plated yoke trusses. There is one ventilation slit at both the front and rear of the barn, a cart entry at the front, and a smaller entry at the rear, along with two windows in the gable end, both under timber lintels. The stable and barn are part of a group with Over Farmhouse.
