Description
Grounds Farm consists of a barn and stable built in the 17th or 18th century, located approximately 15 meters north of the farmhouse. The stable was added later, and the front and internal walls were largely rebuilt in the 19th century. The structure is timber framed with square framing and braces, featuring brick infill. The stable and the rebuilding are primarily made of brick, topped with an old tile roof that includes some 20th-century tiles. The barn has three bays, while the stable has one bay. Facing the farmyard, the barn features central plank doors and a brick lean-to on the left. The stable to the right includes two stable doors and a small window with brick segmental arches. The left side and rear of the building display exposed framing, and the stable has an outshut. Inside, the roof has queen struts and trenched purlins. This building is included for its group value.
