Description
The building is a barn with an attached stable located immediately south of New Barn Farm House, dating from the late 18th century. It features brick walls and tiled roofs, with a half hipped end on the right. The front wall of the barn is buttressed and has some blocked slit windows. There is a projecting hipped cart porch and a 20th-century full height opening. Inside, the barn consists of five bays with a roof constructed of simple tie and collar beams, supported by queen posts. The stable has a brick dentil cornice at the eaves, a ledged door, and a loft door above. To the left, there are large double doors, and on the right, a window with remnants of glazing bars, along with more blocked slit windows. This building is included for its group value.
