Description
This pair of estate cottages, located 50 yards to the east of Markham House, dates from the early 18th century. They are rendered with plain quoins and feature Cotswold stone slate roofs, with the left house having a gabled front. The cottages are two storeys tall, each with two windows and a door. The left side has two bays that project in two hipped gabled wings. The windows are two-light casements with lead cames and iron casement stays. The doors are plank doors, with one located under a 19th-century porch that has a cut frieze to the left, another under a flat stone hood on brackets in the re-entrant angle between the buildings, and a further door to the right.
