Description
School House is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a slate roof, featuring the lowest two courses made of stone slates and coped raised verges. The building is two storeys high and has two bays with glazing bar sash windows set in plain surrounds. To the right, there is a plain door beneath an overlight, framed by a doorcase with engaged Doric columns and a pediment. A lower wing extends to the right, covered with a tiled roof and featuring two glazing sash windows. Additionally, two further wings, which serve both domestic and storage purposes, project to the south from the right wing. The westernmost part of these wings is two storeys tall, has three bays with glazing bar sash windows, and includes a square-headed carriage entry in the south gable.
