Description

The Stewards Flat and Village Hall is a building that dates from the early 19th century and has served various purposes, currently functioning as an estate office, village hall, and flat. The exterior is rendered and features a hipped roof made of Cotswold stone slate. The building stands two storeys tall and is arranged in a 1:2:1:2:1 bay pattern, with the central five bays slightly projecting. It has end quoins and a moulded coped gable with a saddle stone positioned above the centre.

The façade includes 16-pane glazing bar sash windows set in plain stone surrounds, with a plain band running above the ground floor. A prominent central carriage entrance, which is large and segmental headed, features a keystone and archivolt, along with plank doors. The end bays are topped with a parapet that slopes down towards the centre, and there is a tripartite sash window and a plain band above these bays.
