Description
The Werret chest tomb, located 6.5 metres north of the northeast corner of the War Memorial Lych Gate in Yate, is a Grade II listed structure. This chest tomb commemorates John Werret, who died in 1832. It is made of limestone ashlar and features inscribed square panels along with enriched panels. The tomb is adorned with corner balusters, a moulded plinth, and a cornice.
