Description

Rock House Nursing Home is a late 18th century building designed in an L plan. The south elevation features ashlar stonework and a modern tiled roof, standing two storeys high with three glazing bar sash windows. It has a plat band, a moulded cornice, and a parapet, along with end pilasters. The west elevation is rendered and includes a Tuscan portico located in the re-entrant angle. At the rear, there is a two-window wing that is rendered to resemble ashlar, complete with a moulded cornice and parapet, and an arch-headed opening in the end wall.
