Description
Bridgeyate House is a late 18th-century building. It has a rendered exterior, a double saddle modern pantile roof with coped verges, and ashlar stacks with moulded capping. The building is two storeys high with a three-window front. It features glazing bar sash windows within plain stone architraves. A central arched doorway has a six-panelled door and a fanlight, topped with an open pediment supported by engaged Doric columns, each with a small square section of triglyph entablature. There are end pilasters, a plinth, an astragal below a moulded cornice, and a parapet with coping. A central rear door is sheltered by a bracketed hood.
