Description
Ebeneezer Chapel is a Methodist chapel built in 1810, located on the north side of London Road in Bridgeyate Common. The building features rendered walls with stone coping and end gables that also have copings. It has a pantile roof and two arched windows with cills set in reveals, complete with glazing bars. The central gabled porch has an arched doorway with wooden double doors and a fanlight above. Between the windows, there is an inset stone tablet inscribed with "1810, Methodist Chapel, Ebeneezer Sam VII 12." To the left of the porch is a modern door. To the right, there is a mid-19th century or later brick wing with a coping, which is also rendered and has later sash windows set in reveals, along with a plain door beneath a transom light.
