Description
This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th century, is located 6.5 metres southeast of the priest's door of the Church of St Mary in Yate. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features illegible square panels along with a moulded cornice. The chest tombs in this area represent a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs, significantly enhancing the church's setting.
