Description

This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th century, is located 8.5 metres southeast of the priest's door of the Church of St Mary in Yate. It is made of limestone ashlar and features illegible square panels along with a moulded cornice. The chest tombs are a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs and significantly enhance the church's setting.
