Description

The Retreat is a probable farmhouse located at the edge of Plympton St Maurice, dating from the 18th century. The building features roughcast render and an asbestos slate roof, which includes a central hipped dormer with a mid to late 19th century four-pane hornless sash window. The structure is two storeys tall, plus an attic, and has a symmetrical three-window front. There is a 20th century moulded hood supported by consoles above a six-panel door, which has the top two panels later glazed. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
