Description

Pellow Cottage is a small town house dating from the 18th century. It is located on the south side of Fore Street, in Plympton St Maurice. The exterior is rendered over a probable rubble or brick base, with an asbestos slate roof and a brick end stack on the right. The building has a deep plan, including a rear wing, with one room at the front and an entrance hall to the left. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The windows are 20th-century horned sashes, and there is a fielded panel front door on the left. The interior has not been inspected but may contain original features. The building is included on the list for its group value with the neighbouring property at No. 31.
